We believe technology should create mutual benefit.
In biology, mutualism means both organisms benefit from the relationship. Production technology has never worked this way — your tools compete with each other, trap your data, and force you to be the integration layer. Media Mutualism exists to change that.
Our Story
Media Mutualism was founded on a biological principle: mutualism. In nature, mutualistic organisms evolve to make each other stronger. Mycorrhizal fungi connect forest trees underground, sharing nutrients and information. Coral and algae build reef ecosystems neither could create alone. The relationship is the value — not the individual organism.
Founder Glen Huszar spent 13 years inside production operations — from broadcast engineering at NBCUniversal to production technology consulting to building workflow systems for demanding media organizations. He saw the same pattern everywhere: every production ran on a patchwork of tools, every tool promised to be the one platform, and every tool became another silo. The real integration was always a person — a production coordinator copying data between spreadsheets, a post supervisor chasing status updates across email chains, an operations leader running meetings that should have been dashboards.
The question was: what if production technology worked like a healthy ecosystem? What if every integration made both systems stronger? What if every workflow gave back more intelligence than it consumed? That question became Media Forge — a production operations platform designed to function as an ecosystem, not a silo.
What We Believe
The beliefs that guide every product decision we make.
Mutual Benefit First
Every interaction — between systems, between people and software, between company and client — must create value for all parties. If only one side benefits, we've failed. This is the test we apply to every feature, every integration, every partnership.
Connected Intelligence
In nature, mycorrhizal networks connect 90% of the world's plants, sharing water, nutrients, and chemical signals. Your production tools should work the same way — information flowing freely between systems that trust each other. Silos are the enemy.
Production Fluency
We build for production professionals, not at them. The mutualism principle applies here too: you bring expertise, we amplify it. Our language is your language. Our workflows match your workflows. Technology that adapts to expertise.
